“Caught between two sessions of dress-up, the dolls are caught stark naked and coyly cover their private parts.
Playing on the use of the term ‘doll’, which is common slang for a trans woman or transfeminine person, this piece ironically references the popular hysteria around trans people’s genitalia. Even the sexless dolls have to cover themselves from public scrutiny.”
