burns night at seed library

sunday 25 january

Too often, Burns Night celebrations look to a caricature of Scotland for inspiration. Instead, we’re looking at its dynamic and authentic present — bursting at the seams with great music, delicious food, charming bartenders, and — of course — incredible whisky.

On January 25th, we’re welcoming two Glasgow legends — Frank Murphy, owner of The Pot Still, one of Glasgow’s great whisky institutions — and the city’s unofficial Mayor, Andy Gemmell, owner of The Gate and The Hutch at Barra’s Market.

Both’ll be behind the bar and on the floor, with an exceptional line-up of drams on offer, plus additional cask draws and a few weird and wonderful surprises on the side.

And you won’t go hungry! We’ll be dishing out Morning Rolls from Auld Hag, one of London’s most loved Scottish food projects, with a DJ playing bangers all night.

Out with the stuffy old bits — in with everything cool and delicious, January 25th, 5pm - 12am.
