laughter for refuge

12 December | 7pm to 10.30pm

Join us on 12 December for a very special night full of laughs, bringing together a bill of the best stand-up comedians all in the name of charity.

Enjoy performances from headlining act Kae Kurd, recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-rising comedy stars, having performed on Live at the Apollo (BBC2), Mock the Week (BBC2) and Complaint’s Department (Comedy Central) in our One Hundred Room, which boasts stunning panoramic views across East London.

Other acts include comedy queen Cally Beaton, a regular panellist on BBC2's QI, The Apprentice: You're Fired, Pointless Celebrities, Richard Osman's House of Games and The Blame Game. Fatiha El-Ghorri who is a local actress, writer and comedian from around the corner in Hackney will also join us. Her comedy pulls apart Muslim stereotypes and challenges people's views on Islam and Muslim women. She has featured on The Jonathan Ross Show and The Russell Howard Hour. Last but not least, Finlay Christie from 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown will round up the evening and keep the laughter going right until the end.

All proceeds from the night will go to Refuge, our main charity partner who is committed to a world where domestic violence and violence against women and girls are not tolerated and where women and children can live in safety.

Tickets are £15 per person and include a welcome drink.

Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm and will close by 10.30pm.
